|  MySofia | Feb 12, 8:09pm | The boy across the hall wanted to come in and meet me (at least that's what I thought), but his human said that the guy doesn't get along with other cats. Mom decided she didn't want any fights today in her apartment, so everybody went inside to their own homes. (Except for Casey -- he was hiding under Mom's bed the whole time!  He likes other cats, but he doesn't like too many humans besides our mom.) |

I had gone into the conservatory and fallen asleep, it was dark when I woke up and the door was shut.
I heard FG calling me but she did not hear me answer. (I don't sometimes if I am busy thinking or stalking a phantom mouser or spider.)
I fell asleep again and when I woke up all the lights were out!
In desperation I leaped up and grabbed the door handle but it is a round one, not a long one like the others, and my paws kept slipping off.
Suddenly a light went on, the door opened and a hand reached out and stroked me from head to the tip of my tail.
She had found me, I was safe!
I spent most of the rest of the night on her bed snuggled close with her arm round me. Purrrr!!

We don't go outside, but we like to watch "kitty cinema" -- Mom's windows give a perfect view of all the birds and squirrels that come by on the telephone wires. We could watch all day. Purrrrrrrr.
